Finding and navigating the property.
Located on U.S. Highway 49, Central Baptist Church is fairly easy to locate. As you arrive on the property, our parking attendants will help you find the right place to park and direct you to the nearest entrance. Where do I go?
Our property has two main buildings: the church building and the educational building. As you arrive on the property, the first building you will see is the main church building. It is in this building where most of our classes and services take place. Our greeters and ushers are located around the property ready to assist you in finding the appropriate nurseries, classes, and services for each member of your family.
What’s here for my kids?
At Central Baptist Church, we have carefully organized each ministry to meet the need of every age and walk of life. Beginning with first-class nursery suites that are safe, clean, and fully staffed for children three years old and under, to age-appropriate classes that are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered for ages four through twelve, you’ll find every child has a place to feel welcome. For the teenagers in your family, we have a very active and exciting Teen Sunday School program specifically geared to meet the needs of a teenager’s everyday life.
What time should I show up?
Sunday School classes begin every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Most classes provide breakfast for its members; therefore, most people arrive about fifteen minutes early to enjoy a time of food and fellowship. After Sunday School, the morning service begins at 11:00 a.m. While the main church service is in progress, children ages four through twelve will enjoy a children’s church service in the fellowship hall. On Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m, we all meet back at the church for our Sunday Afternoon Family Hour. Following the Family Hour, the Sunday evening service begins at 6:00 p.m. We also meet on Wednesday evening for a time of prayer and Bible study. If for any reason you are unable to visit us on a Sunday morning, we hope you will visit with us during another service time.
What should I expect?
During our Sunday School hour, you can expect a time of fellowship and Bible-centered teaching for your specific age group or walk of life. From couples classes to singles classes; from senior citizen classes to college-aged classes, Central Baptist Church has a Sunday School class for everyone. The Sunday morning service will uplift your heart with soul-stirring music from old-fashioned hymnals, dynamic choir and special music, and a challenging message out of God’s Word from Dr. Miller.
If you still have a question that we did not answer above, feel free to call the church office at any time or e-mail your question to us at info@thecentralbaptist.com.
